About Anonamed
Our Mission
Anonamed was created with one simple yet life-saving goal: to ensure that your critical medical information is instantly accessible in an emergency. By storing your essential health details as a QR code on your phone’s locked screen, we provide first responders—paramedics, doctors, and nurses—immediate access to the information they need to make life-saving decisions when you are unable to communicate.
What is Anonamed?
Anonamed is a web-based application (not yet available on Apple or Google app stores) that allows users to securely store and display their medical information through a QR code. The service is designed to prioritize both accessibility and anonymity, requiring only a first name, nickname, or pseudonym.
Why Anonamed?
Healthcare systems often make it difficult to access your own medical records, especially in emergencies. Hospitals may require formal requests, signed consent forms, and other bureaucratic procedures, which can take hours or even days. Anonamed removes these obstacles by making vital information available instantly.
Privacy & Security
Your privacy is a top priority. While your QR code provides essential medical data, your identity remains protected. We do not require full names, and all user emails are stored in a separate, encrypted database. Users who wish to remain completely anonymous can create a dedicated email solely for registration.
How It Works
- Enter Your Medical Details: Allergies, medications, and conditions.
- Generate a QR Code: Once all sections are completed.
- Save to Your Locked Screen: Screenshot and set as wallpaper.
- Update as Needed: Edit your information anytime.
Global Accessibility
Anonamed is designed for travelers as well. The application supports language translation, allowing users to display their medical information in the local language of their destination.
